|Biography:||Reginald Wayne Berry was the second child of Dewey and Gail Berry born on September 5, 1964 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
He joined the Greater New Zion Baptist Church at an early age. He graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1982. Wayne attended Rose State College where he earned his HVAC certification.
Wayne found his love for cooking and began a 23 year long career at Piccadilly’s Cafeteria, continuing this vocation and becoming a member of The Golden Corral management team. His career moved him to Atlanta, Georgia then to Dallas, Texas where he remained until his passing.
He was united in marriage to Sundra Collins on September 16, 2000. Wayne loved fishing, playing pool, and playing cards.
Wayne had a huge heart, was kind, and willing to help anybody. He met no strangers. He is survived by his wife, Sundra; five children: Raphael Bennett of North Carolina; Natasha Nolen of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Lloyd Berry of Savannah, Georgia; Patricia Berry of Savannah, Georgia; and Reginald Berry, Jr. of Dallas, Texas; his mother and father: Gail and Dewey Berry; three sisters: Barbara (David) James, Marshell Williams, and Terese Berry of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one brother, Dwight Gardner; two brothers-in-law: Wesley Collins and Anton Collins of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one granddaughter, Aaliyah Bennett; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
