Andre James Orr Byrd, affectionately known as Mac-Dre, was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he brought joy and light into the lives of his family and friends. He attended Tulsa Public Schools, Las Vegas Public Schools, and Oklahoma City Public Schools, culminating his educational journey with graduation from the historic Oklahoma City Douglas High School.

Throughout his life, Andre exemplified a spirit of determination and entrepreneurship. He became a certified welder and channeled his passion for creation into the ownership of a popular and successful Lawn and Landscaping company. His knack for innovation extended beyond the greenery; he was remarkably skilled in automotive repair and electrical services, showcasing his intelligence and versatility in various fields.

An aficionado of classic cars, Andre found solace and excitement in restoring vehicles, turning his hobby into a competitive endeavor. He possessed an innate talent for breathing life into old machines, a talent that earned him admiration among peers and enthusiasts alike.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Andre cherished the outdoors. Fishing trips and adventurous road trips were among his favorite pastimes. One particularly cherished memory was a beautiful vacation cruise to Cozumel, Mexico, shared with his beloved mother.

Andre's memory will forever be treasured by his mother, Tia Orr; father, Albert C. Byrd, Jr.; grandparents, Patricia Orr, Matthew Orr, Jr., Virginia Byrd, and Albert C. Byrd, Sr.; sisters, Ambria Orr and Alexis Ware; brothers, Albert Foreman, Ahmad Byrd, and Erin Scott. He is also survived by a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends, all of whom were touched by his warmth, humor, and kindness.

In his passing, Andre leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and resilience that will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched. May he rest in peace, forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
