Celebrating the Life of Angela Denise Minnis-Green

August 7, 1967 – [Insert Date of Passing]

"Strength, Love, and Grace: A Life Well Lived"

Angela Denise Minnis-Green, affectionately known as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, was born on August 7, 1967, to Clifford and Teresa Minnis. Raised with faith as her foundation, Angela accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age, and her life reflected her unwavering commitment to God. She was a faithful member of World Harvest Church in Enid, Oklahoma, where she found solace and strength in her faith community.

Angela was preceded in death by her beloved father, Clifford Minnis, and her stepsister, Louise Clark. Her legacy, however, shines brightly in the lives of those she touched.

Angela attended Spencer High School, where she was an avid basketball player. She carried the same determination and energy from her youth into her adult life. On June 4, 1993, Angela married her soulmate, Robert Lee Green Jr., a partnership rooted in love and companionship for 31 beautiful years. This union blessed them with two cherished daughters, Laquesha and Sharita, and expanded Angela’s heart to embrace her stepdaughter, Lakisha Spady, and four additional stepdaughters: Trina, Latrisha, Tina, and Carolyn.

Throughout her career, Angela demonstrated an incredible work ethic and a passion for helping others. She began working alongside her mother at the Oklahoma Tax Commission, later pursuing her calling as a certified nursing assistant. Always seeking growth, she furthered her skills by obtaining a food handler’s certification. Angela's career was a testament to her dedication to providing care and comfort to others.

Angela’s vibrant personality was infectious. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, from spending quality time with her family to attending car shows, parades, festivals, and concerts. A self-proclaimed foodie, she delighted in trying new cuisines, making every meal an adventure.

Angela embodied the essence of a strong, loving woman. Her warm heart, boundless energy, and diva-like charm made her a beacon of love and positivity. Her devotion to her family was her greatest strength, as she was a constant source of encouragement, wisdom, and unwavering support. Her legacy of love, faith, and resilience will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew her.

Angela leaves behind a family filled with love and admiration: her devoted husband, Robert Green Jr., of Enid; her beloved mother, Teresa Minnis; her stepmother, Mary Minnis; her mother-in-love, Carolyn Green; her daughters Lakisha (Brian) Spady, Laquesha (Benjamin) Onema, and Sharita (Valentin) Ala Torre; her stepdaughters Trina (Ricky) House, Latrisha (Kendal) Jackson, Tina (Jeffery) Selvy, and Carolyn (Keenan) Butler; her treasured siblings, including her sister Latonya Roach and sisters Claudette Higgs, Nicole Pierson, and Kimberly Chapped of Atlanta, GA; her stepbrother Fernando of Denver, CO; 24 grandchildren who brought her immense pride and joy; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Angela’s life was a testament to her faith, her love for family, and her enduring strength. She was a superwoman full of energy and life, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

"Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning." —Psalm 30:5
