Austin Norton

Austin Christopher Eberly Norton, age 29, of Edmond, Oklahoma died on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. Austin was born in Carlisle, Pennsylvania on October 20, 1992 and moved to Oklahoma City Oklahoma in 2003. He was the son of the late Gary Scott Norton and Christine and Curt Dawson. Austin was a 2011 graduate of Putnam City High School where he was active in the PCO marching and concert bands. He enjoyed gaming, including online platforms, card games, board games, and D&D. Family get-togethers would usually end with a night of games and he was right there in the middle of the action, determined to win.

He is survived by his mother and step father, Christine and Curt Dawson, maternal grandparents; Jeannie Bear and Charles Bear Jr., paternal grandmother Darlene Hess Webb, three brothers; Andrew Norton and wife Kaydee, Alex Norton, and Caleb Coder and girlfriend Wanda Clark. Austin also leaves behind two nephews, Carter Norton and Jaxon Norton, and a niece Parker Norton, as well as his uncle, Jason Bear, and his aunts, Laura Abrams Garver, Tammy Bear, and Donna Norton. Austin was preceded in death by his father, Gary Scott Norton, and his PopPop, James Webb.
