Donnie Earl Forshee was born on December 6, 1954, to Wilbert Crawford and Barberie Forshee in Okemah, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his first love, his father, stepfather, brother, sister, and grandparents.
Donnie attended Clearview Elementary School, then moved to Oklahoma City, where he graduated from Northeast High School in 1972. Donnie worked for Silver Star Construction Company and later retired from Wilson Packing House.
Donnie confessed his love for Christ at an early age at Greater Bethel Baptist Church, where he met Linda Jean West.
On September 10, 1976, Donnie married Linda Jean WestForshee. This union was blessed with two children. On June 21, 1998, Linda J. Forshee gained her wings.
In 2007, Donnie moved his faith to New Hope Baptist Church, where he served on the Brotherhood and where he met and married Virginia Hunt. Donnie loved his Oklahoma University football and spending time with his grandchildren. Donnie was the proud father of three children.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Virginia Forshee of Oklahoma City, OK; two daughters, Dionne WashingtonJackson (Omar) and Dionne Forshee, both of Oklahoma City,
OK; one son, Brandon Forshee, Sr. (Aurielle) of Oklahoma City, OK; his mother, Barbrie Hopkins of Oklahoma City, OK; two sisters, Etta Lynn Singleton and Cookie Crawford-White (M.A.), both of Oklahoma City, OK; two sisters-in-law, Teresa Hinton and Raquel Kirklin, both of Oklahoma City, OK; two brothersin-law, Rodney Kirklin and Corey Kirklin, both of Oklahoma City, OK; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
