Gwenith Dewayne (Haslip) Wright

GWENITH WAYNE WRIGHT, SR. was born on November 8,. 1972, a bouncing baby boy was born to Rosie Wright and Charles Green. He was the oldest of three boys: Gwenith, Charles and Shannon, he went by the nickname "Rock."

Rock attended school at Parker Elementary then to Rogers Middle School then to Star Spencer High School where he gradu­ated. He attended Rose State, OSU, Langston University and State Barber College.

Rock accepted Christ at an early age where he attended St. James Baptist Church and was baptized under the leadership of W.B. Parker, then the family moved to. Midwest City where he attended and joined the Seventh Day Adventist Church where he was baptized by Pastor Johnson.

Rock loved spending time with his family. He loved coaching, little league football and cutting hair.

Rock was preceded in death by both parents, Rosie Wright and Charles Green.

Rock met and married Tiffany Hightower, unto this union a son was born, Christian Wright this marriage ended in divorce.

Rock met and married Latasha Haslip, unto this union four children were born: Gwenith Jr., Ginuwine, Rosie and Shuleia.

Rock leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Latasha; his children: Gwenith Jr., Ginuwine, Rosie and Shuleia; his brothers: Charles of Dallas, Texas; Shannon (Christy) Wright of Stillwater; three aunts: Olai Mackey of Portland, Oregon; Dorothy Henderson of Spencer, Oklahoma; Helen (Johnny) Beard of Oklahoma City; two uncles: Danny Green and Robert Green of Anadarko, Okla­homa; one great uncles, Jordan Knight, II of Oklahoma City; and a host of other relatives and friends.
