James Lester Mukes

James Mukes, of Oklahoma City, passed away on November 2, 2024. An Army veteran and former employee of Oklahoma City Public Schools, James was known for his entrepreneurial spirit and his mastery in BBQ, bringing joy and flavor to all who knew him. A proud father of seven, James was a dedicated family man and an avid fan of the Oklahoma Sooners and America’s Team, the Dallas Cowboys. His warmth, wit, and passion for life will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate to share in his journey. Services are currently pending.
