Jamilya Elise Bailey was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on November 12, 1986. She is the only beloved daughter of Eveline Gaines and Robert K. Love.
As a child, she attended Horace Mann Elementary and Hoover Middle Schools. She graduated from John Marshall High School in 2005. (Go Bears!) Prior to her transition from this life, she was employed as a Title Clerk, spending over 10 years at Northwest Tag Agency.
She was raised in New Bethel Baptist Church where she formed a solid relationship with God. The light shined so brightly within her and on anyone she was around. She was loving, affectionate, smart, kind and patient. She provided a listening ear, comforting shoulder, or even a joke, if that's you needed. She embodied the phrase "honor thy mother and father." Always smiling and ever helpful is how she will be remembered.
Jamilya departed from this life on September 12, 2021. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother and father, Eveline and Robert; three brothers, Antonio Gaines, Robert Love Jr. and Keon Love; five neices, Aija, Ashland, Keonna, Mycah, and Savannah; five nephews, Jayce, Kejon, Keon Jr., Major, and Robbie, two great neices, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, especially Lameka, Seretta and Emily.
Jamilya will be always be with us. Whenever you think of her infectious laughter, beautiful smile, or some kind word she said to you, you will feel her in your hearts. May she stay there forever.
