On May the 4th, 1957, Michael Todd Long, a bundle of joy was born to Elmerece and Bobbie (Terry) Long in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was the oldest of five children. He accepted Christ, as his personal Savior, and was baptized at a y01rng age, at St. John C.M.E. under the leadership of his uncle Reverend Curtiss Long. During his
early years, he sung in the choir and attended Sunday School. Mike grew him up in a God fearing and spiritual home.
Mike attended Edwards Elementary, Kennedy Middle and graduated from Douglass High School in 1975. He enrolled at Oscar Rose Junior College, where he met Koquise
Edwards, and they married in 1978, and later the marriage was dissolved with no children. He worked at Tinker Air Force Base, Western Electric and Dayton Tire, until his
health started to fail.
Mike loved being around friends and family, he was blessed with numerous cousins on both sides of his family. His passion was watching football, basketball, boxing and
playing dominoes. If you did not know him as "Mike/Bang/ Bingo," then you knew him as Michael. His life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him
understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His tender smile, kind heart, and loving spirit brought so much joy to our family.Mike left an example for his family and friends of how to "love thy neighbor." Mike received his Heavenly wings on September 22, 2021.
Mike is preceded in death by his mother Bobbie Long and sister Roshawn (Long) Jackson.
Mike leaves to cherish his memory, his father Elmerece Long; sister, Latricia Long; brothers, Wesley (Monica)Long, and Randall (Kysha); and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
