Ricky Glover Obituary

Ricky Lee Glover was born to the late Paulzetta and Richard Glover on November 11, 1965, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was the 2nd born of three children. Older brother Anthony and younger sister Tanika along with their parents moved from Oklahoma City to Spencer, Oklahoma in the early 70’s. Ricky attended Our Lady of Fatima from 3rd grade until graduating  the 8 th grade. In the Fall of 1980 Ricky started his freshman year of high school at Star Spencer High School. Star Spencer High School  is where the “Legend” was discovered. Ricky was an exquisite All-American Athlete. His Athletic abilities lead him to receive a full  scholarship to Seminole Junior College, at the time known for having the best players in the state.  In 1985, a daughter was born.” Mikki and Ricky” is what he would often say. Over the years they became each other’s best buddies.  Before the birth of Mikki he had his oldest Tochi, “you already know, I’d kill a dead snake behind ya’ll”. Ricky let the world know how proud he was of his children and grandbabies. Ricky was a loving father of two daughters Mikki (Saunti, Sanaa, Salia) and  Tochi (Kylan). Ricky’s greatest gift was the love of family. He enjoyed having family over while his Honey Sabena cooked up some good food in the kitchen. The two of them would feed you and give you the shirt of their backs. Those two were like two peas in a pod. House full of kids and food in the kitchen. Ricky was the life of any party and there was always guaranteed laughs when he was around.  He enjoyed spending time with his friends and most of all his  family.

Ricky departed this earth on September 19, 2021. He was proceeded  in death by both parents Richard and Paulzettta Glover, both maternal and paternal grandparents He leaves to cherish; His Love Sabena Watts, his children Mikki and Tochi, siblings; older brother Anthony (Veronica) and younger sister Tanika, his wonderful grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
