Robbie Jean Osborne was born on November 24, 1959 in Oklahoma
City, Oklahoma to Edward Eugene and Edna May Osborne. She was the
sixth of seven beautiful children. She was always a beacon of light and
joy to whoever she crossed paths with. She had a relationship with God
from a very young age.
Robbie graduated from Douglass High School. After high school,
she began her career with the Oklahoma City Public School System,
retiring after 28 years of dedicated service.
Robbie always honored her ancestors and loved ones who have
passed and made sure her family knew where they came from. She is
preceded in death by her mother and father, her eldest brother Bruce
Osborne and her big sister and best friend Georgia Allen.
In life, we are sometimes blessed to have someone that brings you
joy. Our family received that blessing. Her name was Robbie Jean
Osborne. Her smile would light up any room. Her charismatic charm
would command an audience. Her humor would make even the most
troubling times bearable. Even through her own pain, she found a way to
bring out endless joy to everyone around her. Robbie was one in a
million. She was a mother, a grandmother, a sister, a daughter, an aunt,
a cousin, a trusted friend and the life of the party. She will be missed by
us all.
Robbie leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Falicia Jefferson (Arthur
Cole), Chiquita Osborne, both of Oklahoma City; her sisters: Sonja
McDonald, Marva Chappell; her brothers: Derrick Osborne (Velma), Kevin
Osborne (Tina); her grandchildren: Aundré Dawkins II, Adrian Dawkins,
Arthur Cole III, Auri Cole, Kamya Lewis, Makel Evans; and a host of nieces,
nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
