Robert Lee Johnson was born on June 18, 1935, to Jack Johnson Sr. and Fleater Johnson in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He entered eternal rest on September 3, 2021, at Southwestern Hospital at the age of 86. 

The Johnson family moved to Lawton in 1941. Robert was the second of (11) eleven children. Robert attended Lawton Public Schools and Union Baptist Church. Robert met and married Odessa Stevenson, August 1952, from the union 3 children were born, Brenda, Howard and Gary. Robert later married Wilma Graham, from the union 2 children were born, Nell Laverne and Melody. Robert's life work was with the Frisco Railroad, he retired in September 1995 with 30 years of service. Robert was well known as the Lawton View Mechanic for all people He loved working on cars. 

Robert is survived by his wife Wilma Johnson, children: Brenda Perry, Howard Johnson, Gary Johnson, Nell Watts, Terry Grant, Laretha Hair, Dewayne Hair, Kenneth Hair. Grandchild: Tracy Freeman, Kimberly Richardson, Malcom Johnson, Eric Johnson, Andrea Johnson, Rashard Andrews, Rodney Wright, Aaron Wright, Tyrell Wright and Jacob Watts. Great grandchildren: Jocquel Freeman, Braylon Freeman, Oshale Ray, Quataeous Douglas, Ontario (Mookie) Douglas, Jordan Johnson, Jacobe Johnson, Jaytee Johnson, Jaden Johnson, Zaire Walton, Kai Moor, Ryan Andrews Dylan Andrews. Great great grandchildren: Airion Bass, Delano, Nalea Douglas, Rubie Freeman, , Jiasure Freeman, five brothers: Jack Johnson Jr., Oklahoma City, Kenneth (Teresa} Johnson, Long Beach, CA., Leonard Johnson, Marvin (Roberta) and Johnson, Ollie (Eva) Johnson all of Lawton. His four sisters Mae Etta Johnson, Shirlene Carter, Arnesia (Rayford) Byers of Lawton, Ok and Pauline (Joe) Hardman of Oklahoma City, and a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Fleater Johnson and Jack Johnson Sr., brother Earl Johnson and daughter Melody
