Ronald Dean Estep
Ronald Dean Estep, age 63, died surrounded by his immediate family on October 17th, 2022, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Ronnie is survived by his wife of thirty years, Robyn, his three daughters, Rebecca Noble and husband Rob Noble, of Mustang; Amber Cox and husband Johnny Cox, of Harrah; and Aurora Estep, his baby moose, of Oklahoma City; four grandchildren, Rylee Cox, Reagan Cox, Angelus Estep, and Ryder Noble. He is also survived by his best friend and brother, Chris Tillotson and wife Linda Tillotson, of Moore, and their four children; his sister, Connie Timmons, of Fort Smith, and her daughter and grandchildren; his brother, Gary Clyden, who joined Ronnie on October 19th, and wife Opal Clyden, of Fay; his brother, Terry Clyden and wife Janet Clyden, of Piedmont; his sister, Sheri Pritchard and wife Susan Pritchard, of Oklahoma City; and his brother, Keith Estep and wife Brenda Estep, of Kingfisher as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He also leaves many who consider him a dear friend and confidant.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, George Estep; his nephew, Brandon Clyden; his mother and father-in-laws, Patricia Parker and Doel Parker Sr.; and his nephew, Jacob Parker.
Ronnie was born on February 13th, 1959 in Watonga, OK, to parents Lois Jean Estep and Lloyd George Estep. He graduated from Watonga High School in 1978. Ronnie was a hard worker in numerous jobs, starting while he was still in school, and he enjoyed working and getting his hands dirty. Ronnie has spent time being a restaurant cook, a roustabout in the oil-field, and became one of the best employees of Joe Esco tires. Ron also ran large machinery for twenty years at Smurfit Stone box company, was a hot-shot driver in the oil-field, and became a certified welder so he could work alongside his best friend at L&C Ventures, a job he deeply l oved and missed immensely. His last job was at Kimray, where he started by building pumps, and ended with night-shift truck driving.
Ronnie was a great family man and a loving father. He met his wife, Robyn, at school in 1973, and later married her in 1992. The couple then created a blended family with their daughters, Rebecca, Amber, and Aurora. Their home was full of wisdom, love, l aughter and support. Ronnie was an incredible father figure for not just his children, but for their friends as well. Ronnie had many adopted daughters, and made a point to always be present in the lives of those he loved. Those who called him father include: Sunny Wilson, Rhythm Spasic, Mandy Cruz, Amber Unah, Abby Nail, and Kayla Heath.
Ronnie wanted to be remembered for his sense of humor and love for family and friends. When anyone needed him, he would jump! He was loyal and trustworthy, and he will be missed by those he leaves behind. He was a man of many talents and interests. He was a talented artist, and had a deep love for music and singing, which he instilled in his children. Ronnie also loved cars, and always dreamed of having his own restoration garage. He was loved unconditionally by many people who made time to be present in his life.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 29th at Heritage Funeral and Cremation Services in Oklahoma City, followed by graveside services at Dale Cemetery..
