Sharon Bennett Obituary

Sharon Kay Bennett was born July 30, 1964 to Otis and Anna (Reed) Bennett in Oklahoma City, OK. She   was the first daughter born to this union. She accepted Christ at a young age and continued to worship and expand her relationship with God throughout her life.

Sharon attended Millwood Public Schools and received her high school diploma in 1982. She attended some college courses at Central State University and Oklahoma State University Technical Institute.

Sharon was a woman of great faith with a heart of gold. Known for her wonderful smile, joyous attitude and fun spirit, anyone who met her loved her. She accepted just about everyone as family and treated them as such.  Her favorite color was blue, and she loved old school music.  She also loved spending quality time with family and friends.

A hard worker, Sharon worked multiple service industry jobs, including 7-Eleven, where she worked for almost 15 years until her health declined. After a tough battle with an illness, Sharon transitioned peacefully March 1, 2021, surrounded by family.

Sharon leaves to cherish her memory mother, Anna Bennett; father, Otis (G. Maxine) Bennett;  daughters, LaQuisha and Ana Bennett; granddaughter, Shatima Bennett; grandson, Jeremiah King; great-grandson, Jackson Doss; sisters, Denise (Jethro) Cammon and Reginia Bennett; brothers, Lee Bennett, Glenn (Felisha) Bennett and Ron Kelly; special cousin/sister Alicia Bennett and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a wealth of family and friends.
