Teroyce Rhone Obituary

Obituary for Teroyce Rhone, Sr.
July 12, 1931 – September 12, 2024

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Teroyce Rhone, Sr., who entered eternal rest on September 12, 2024, at the age of 93. He lived a gracious and simple life, rooted in love for his family, pride in his service to his country, and devotion to his community.

A proud veteran, Mr. Rhone served with honor in the United States Army during the Korean War from 1950 to 1953. His time in the military left an indelible mark on his life, and he carried the values of service, integrity, and duty with him always. In 1953, after returning home, he married the love of his life, Aline Driver-Rhone. Together, they built a life of love and dedication, creating a beautiful blended family of 14 children: Teroyce Jr., Anthony L., Macus V., Kenneth A., Renardo R., Barry K., Byron J., Micheal D., Melvin L. Driver, Wilma J. Grayson-Driver, Jacqueline K. Bean-Sanders, Marvel A. Bean-Denard, Caril A. Rhone-Seals, and Ardith C. Rhone.

Teroyce Sr. was a man of simple pleasures. He found joy in the lively atmosphere of the bingo hall and the comforting aroma of his favorite cigars. But above all, he cherished the moments spent with his family. His love, wisdom, and guidance were the foundation upon which his children and grandchildren thrived. He was a pillar of strength, always there with open arms, a kind word, or a quiet smile, offering unwavering support and love to those fortunate enough to know him.

Mr. Rhone’s memory will be forever cherished by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and countless friends and neighbors who knew him as a kind and generous soul. His legacy of love and selflessness will live on in the hearts of his family and the community he held dear.

As we say goodbye, we are comforted in knowing that his gentle spirit will remain with us, a reminder of a life well-lived, full of grace, humility, and love. Rest in peace, Teroyce Rhone, Sr., knowing that you are deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
