Tommy Williams Obituary

On August 16, in the year of our Lord 1955, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Tommy and Emma Williams were blessed with a bouncing baby boy. They lovingly named him Tommy Lee Williams Jr., and from the very beginning he brought joy, laughter, and a bright spirit into the lives of everyone around him.

At the age of ten, Tommy moved with his family to Wichita, Kansas, where he continued his education and grew into a young man known for his warm heart, easy smile, and friendly spirit. Later in life, Tommy returned to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where he met and married the love of his life, Livi Bell Williams, beginning a new chapter rooted in love, family, and togetherness.

Tommy truly loved life and treasured the time he spent with his family. He never met a stranger, and his joyful personality could light up any room. He enjoyed visiting with loved ones, sharing laughter, telling stories, and making memories that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him. If you were looking for Tommy, chances are you could find him near a fishing pond, enjoying the peace of the water and the excitement of a good catch. Fishing brought him great happiness, especially when he could share his fresh catch with family and friends.

Tommy also had a deep love for music and dancing. Whenever the music started playing, you could count on Tommy to be nearby enjoying the rhythm, clapping his hands, or stepping onto the floor with a smile. His joyful spirit, love for fellowship, and appreciation for life made him a blessing to be around.

On February 22, 2026, God in His infinite wisdom dispatched His angels to OU Medical Center to call Tommy home from labor to reward. Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life. The Word of God reminds us in John 3:16:

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Tommy was preceded in death by his beloved parents and one sister who welcomed him into eternal rest.

He leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his life his loving wife, Livi Bell Williams, along with a devoted circle of brothers and sisters who shared a lifetime of love and memories with him. His sisters include Janice Greer, Ruth Cornelius of Oklahoma City, Gerald Dean Williams of Charlotte, North Carolina, Linda Moss of DeSoto, Louisiana, Alma Williams of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Jean Williams of Wichita, Kansas. His brothers include Kenneth Ray Williams and Aurthur Lee Williams of Wichita, Kansas, Kevin Williams, Sr. Wichita, Kansas and Tyrone Williams of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Tommy also leaves behind his beloved uncle, Richard (Jerry) Williams of Albuquerque, New Mexico, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish the love, laughter, and kindness he shared throughout his life.

Although Tommy has taken his rest, his legacy of love, joy, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
