A Time to be Born
Vickey Lynn Langston was born on August 17, 1957, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was the third child of Cary Noiel, Sr. and Annie Marie Noiel.
A Time to Prepare
Raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Vickey graduated from Millwood High School in 1975. She later attended and gradutated from Mid-America Christian University with a bachelor's degree of science and a master's degree of Business.
Vickey accepted Christ as her savior at an early age and united with Greater New Zion Baptist Church, Oklahoma City and later became a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, Oklahoma City. She moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado and served for many years as a faithful member and church secretary before moving back to Oklahoma City.
A Time to Embrace
Vickey had three brothers and two sisters growing up, with a large family there was never a dull moment. She married Herschel Wayne Langston and to this union two children were born, LaTreece and Henry Langston. She was blessed with five grandchildren.
Vickey was an exceptional cook and loved cooking for her father and family. She loved making others laugh and enjoyed spending time with several friends and family members with whom she was very close to and loved unconditionally.
A Time to Serve
A dedicated and faithful community servant to all, Vickey enjoyed her career at the Veteran's Administration Hospital until her passing. Her service throughout the community and amongst family and friends was always with a loving smile. She will be fondly remembered by those she touched in her service to others.
A Time to Remember
Vickey leaves to continue her legacy of love and service, her father, Cary D. Noiel, Sr; her daughter, LaTreece L. Langston; brothers, Jefferson Charles Caddy of Rock Island, Illinois, Freddie Dean Noiel of Oklahoma City, OK, Cary D. Noiel, Jr. (Sophia) of San Antonio, TX; sisters, Jacqueline O.Noiel of Fort Worth, TX, Jenell Conley (Steven) of Spencer, OK; grandchildren, Ashley Langston, Zoey Wells, Faith Langston, Aalaijah Greene, and Noah Langston all of Oklahoma City,Ok.
Vickey entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 31, 2022. She is preceded in death by her husband, Herschel Langston; son, Henry Langston; and mother, Annie Marie Noiel.
